The way you think about mallet weight distribution is about to change.
Oakley Woods Croquet’s AERO mallet has pushed the envelope of mallet design. Thanks to the side cavities, this new mallet lowers wind resistance. This makes for a more stable mallet on a gusty day. As a result of the reduced center head mass, peripheral weighting has been increased to create our highest peripherally weighted* mallet ever. The solid brass faces have been improved with grooves for improved top spin. At 2-1/2" across, this head provides a wide sweet spot.
In its first outing, it won the 2024 National Doubles Golf Croquet Championship.
An ultra-light graphite shaft lowers the mallet’s center of gravity to place the mass where it matters most - directly behind the 2” tall striking face.
The carbon fiber tube skeleton is completely wrapped in a comfortable and colorful foam grip. This allows the player to utilize every inch of space for ultimate hand positioning from drive shots to pass rolls. The profiled foam grip is black for all but 6" at the bottom, where you have a choice of blue, red or green. The foam grip incorporates foam color bands of blue, red, black & yellow.

LOOKING FOR OUR NEW BENT SHAFT HANDLE?
Bent shafts or ergonomic shaped shafts relax the natural hyper-extension of your wrists when holding a traditional straight handle. They are very popular, especially with players using an Irish grip. For more information, please see our Bent shaft series mallets.
