Getting wickets into the ground can be challenging - especially with larger wickets or dense soil (or clay). This dead blow mallet will make the task much easier while it's non-marring surface will not chip the finish on your wickets.
This 4 pound mallet works well for average soil conditions (when putting in Tournament hoops) or when Foxy wickets are used. If you are faced with hard dry soil or clay, we recommend the heavier 5-1/2 pound size hoop mallet.
